Marcela Calderon
Ms. Calderon joined Cornerstone Law Group in July 2010 as an Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant to Mary Ann Wloszek and Harry G. Lewis. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Riverside in 2006, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Law and Society. Ms. Calderon studied abroad at Leiden University in The Netherlands from 2005 - 2006. She received a grant to teach English in Huelva, Spain in 2006 - 2007. In 2008, Ms. Calderon first joined Cornerstone Law Group as an Immigration Legal Assistant to Charina P. Garcia. She then received another grant to teach English in Seville, Spain in 2008 - 2009. She later rejoined Cornerstone Law Group at the Oakland office in 2009. In addition, Ms. Calderon has volunteered for many non-profit organizations including, Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) in San Francisco and Asociación Pro-Derechos Humanos de Andalucía (Association for Human Rights in Andalusia), in Huelva, Spain. She is fluent in Spanish. Ms. Calderon handles both family-based and employment-based immigration cases.
