Jaime T. Young has been a member of the California State Bar since December 2009.  She earned a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.  While attending Santa Clara University, Ms. Young participated in the Immigration Clinic at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center.  She appeared before the Immigration Court in San Francisco on behalf of a client seeking asylum and argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Ms. Young was also a member of the Honors Moot Court 2008 External Elite Team and participated in the first annual Asylum and Refugee Law National Moot Court Competition at the University of California Davis.  Ms. Young served as the Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and helped create a successful judicial externship program for law students.  Ms. Young earned a B.A. from the University of California Berkeley, with a major in Asian American Studies and a minor in Public Policy.  She is currently a member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Silicon Valley and the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.
